Asher Wojciechowski has opted out of his contract with the Orioles.
Wojciechowski, 29, had failed to earn a promotion to the big league club and had been pitching at Triple-A Norfolk. Over his last two starts he had gone 15 innings allowing just a run while compiling a 20/0 K/BB ratio.

The right hander becomes available to sign anywhere now. For the season he owns a 3.51 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 89/32 K/BB ratio in 84 2/3 innings which included 12 starts and seven relief appearances.
