The Orioles added some minor league depth on Sunday signing left handed pitcher Zack Dodson.
Dodson, 25, was a former fourth-round pick of the Pirates back in 2009 but after spending seven seasons in the organization’s minor league system he now gets a fresh start.
Last season Dodson compiled a 3.67 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and a 89/36 K/BB ratio in 162 innings at Double-A Altoona.
The Orioles also reached minor league deals with left hander Jeff Beliveau, right hander Jason Stoffel in addition to outfielder Rubi Silva.
