Last season Chris Davis swatted a major league best 47 home runs. Now as a free agent the 29-year-old is looking to cash in as he is the biggest name available.
Davis has been offered $150 million over season years by his former team the Baltimore Orioles.
While the Orioles want Davis to sign quickly his agent, Scott Boras, is not inclined to be confined by time frames.
“I don’t draw lines in the sand,” Boras said, via ESPN. “My job is to take information, and, unless Chris directs me to, you usually try to keep the doors open for everyone to listen and advance what they want to advance.
Davis has been a key to the Orioles success recently however his 2014 season ended following a positive test for Adderall.
