New York Mets closer Jenrry Mejia was placed on the disabled list on April 7, now he will have plenty of time to heal following an 80 game suspension.
Mejia was placed on the disabled list for posterior inflammation in his right elbow but will now be out until July.

Stanozolol is the same PED that Arodys Vizcaino and Ervin Santana were caught using and subsequently suspended for.
The Mets have Bobby Parnell nearing a return, he could end up as the Mets closer sooner rather than later.
