Gavin Floyd was given a one-year deal by the Indians on Tuesday. He will begin the 2015 season in the rotation.

Floyd signed a one-year, $4 million big-league deal with the Indians on Tuesday. The contract contains $6 million in incentives based on starts and innings pitched. The bonuses don’t start until he reaches 19 starts and 160 innings.

Cy Young winner Corey Kluber, Carlos Carrasco and Trevor Bauer will be the top part of the Indians rotation with Floyd and either Danny Salazar, T.J. House, Zach McAllister or Josh Tomlin claiming the final spot.

Floyd has been injury prone in recent seasons. He underwent Tommy John surgery missing almost the entire 2013 season and was just nine starts into the 2014 season when he fractured his funny bone.
