The Marlins have signed infielder Scott Sizemore to a minor league contract.
Sizemore, 29, will also receive an invitation to spring training after spending the bulk of his 2014 season with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre where he hit .266/.329/.433 with seven homers and 41 RBI in 81 games.
With an ability to play all across the diamond Sizemore has the ability to be a worthwhile bat for the Marlins.
