The Astros have bolstered their bullpen with another arm.
Pat Neshek and the Astros have reached an agreement on a two-year deal worth $12.5 million. The deal also contains a club option for the 2017 season.
Neshek, 34, had to accept a minor league deal last year from the Cardinals but turned in an All-Star season finishing with a 1.87 ERA and 68/9 K/BB ratio over 67 1/3 innings.
While Neshek could pick up a handful of saves he must likely will slide into a setup role in front of Luke Gregerson.
