Ervin Santana hit free agency again this offseason tied to draft pick compensation.
The 31-year-old Santana pitched last season on a one-year deal with the Brves finishing with a 3.95 ERA across 31 starts. After rejecting a $15.3 million qualifying offer Santana has been slow to see a market develop as teams had focused on Jon Lester – now with the Cubs – and Max Scherzer.

However the market for Santana is beginning to develop after the twins offered him a four-year deal worth $50 million. Now Yankees are also said to be showing interest in the former Angels pitcher.
