The Braves are looking for a second baseman while Stephen Drew is looking for a contract. Could something get worked out?
After spending his career as a shortstop, Drew would have to take over second base for the Braves who have Andrelton Simmons at short.
Drew declined a qualifying offer last offseason and later ended up resigning with the Red Sox. He was later traded to the Yankees. While the Yankees, Mets and Athletics have all been linked to Drew anyone could sign him.
In 85 games last season Drew compiled just a .162/.237/.299 line hitting seven home runs and driving in 26 RBI.
