Nationals to make another attempt to re-sign Jordan Zimmermann

The Nationals will make one more attempt to re-sign pitcher Jordan Zimmermann to a long-term contract.

Zimmermann along with Doug Fister become free agents at the end of the 2015 season which has led to plenty of speculation that one or maybe both could be moved.

The Nationals have made contract offers to both but thus far has not met on terms.

Zimmermann had a 2.66 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 182/29 K/BB ratio in 199 2/3 innings.
