Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano suffered a non-displaced fracture in his right pinkie toe after being hit by a pitch during the All-Star Series game against Samurai Japan.

Cano suffered the injury in Saturday’s game after being hit by a pitch. He is expected to miss 3-4 weeks as he recovers. The injury should not prevent Cano from being ready come spring training.

In his first season with the Mariners the 32-year-old Cano hit .314/.382/.454 with 14 home runs and 82 RBI.
