The Texas Rangers have narrowed their managerial search to three finalist.
According to T.R. Sullivan the Rangers will choose between a trio that includes Tim Bogar, Jeff Banister and Kevin Cash.
Ron Washington stepped down during the 2014 season allowing Bogar to serve as interim manager for the final 22 games. Bogar led the team to a 14-8 record.
Bannister is currently the third base coach of the Pirates while Cash is the current bullpen coach for the Indians. Cash played for the Rangers’ Triple-A team as recently as 2011.
