David Ross wants to continue playing, could return to Red Sox

David Ross wants to continue playing at the major league level according to sources close to the Red Sox catcher.

Ross, 37, would like to play another year or two reports MLB Daily Dish, and the door is still open for for a return to the Red Sox.

If Ross returns to the Red Sox he would do so as a mentor to youngst4ers Christian Vazquez and Blake Swihart. Ross has spent 13 seasons at the big league level hitting .233/.318/.435 with 95 home runs and 273 RBI.
