The SK Wyverns of the Korean Baseball Organization has released former major league outfielder Luke Scott.

Scott, 36, made what the team called “disrespectful” behavior towards coach Lee Man-soon calling him a “liar.”

The fracas began over Scott’s most recent injury. He is dealing with plantar fasciitis. Scott was not happy with the way the team had been handling the situation.

According to WEEI, Scott told reporters the team did not respect his way of handling his physical condition.

In 33 games this season for the Wyners Scott was hitting .267 with six home runs.

Scott has seen nine seasons in MLB playing for Houston, Baltimore and Tampa Bay. He is a career .258/.340/.481 hitter with 135 career home runs and 436 RBI.
