Joe Kelly 2-3 weeks away from returning to Cardinals

St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Joe Kelly is two to three weeks away from returning to the majors according to general manager John Mozeliak.

Kelly is nearing a return from a torn hamstring that could see him back in action shortly before the All-Star break reports Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Dispatch.

The Cardinals currently are not sure whether Kelly will return as a starter or a reliever but manager Mike Matheny says an available position will determine the Cardinals rehab plans for the right hander.

Prior to going down, Kelly had made three starts this season going 1-1 with a 0.59 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP/.
