In order to get more offense injected into their lineup the Atlanta Braves are considering calling up catcher Christian Bethancourt from Triple-A Gwinnett reports Mark Bowman of Braves.com.

Bethancourt, 22, has been hot in June at Gwinnett. Bethancourt is hitting .375/.380/.438 in 13 June games.

On the season Bethancourt is hitting .274/.301/.371 with two home runs and 29 RBI in 53 minor league games.

While Bethancourt would take over behind the plate the biggest move would involve Evan Gattis shifting to left field. Justin Upton would play right field and Jason Heyward would play center. B.J. Upton would move to the bench.

Gattis played 48 games in left field in 2013.
