Mitch Moreland may not have ankle surgery, could return in 3 weeks?

The Texas Rangers got a bit of good news on Monday. First baseman Mitch Moreland could return in three to four weeks.

Originally Moreland was thought to be lost for the season as he was set to undergo ankle surgery, now there is hope he will be able to play again this year.

Of course Jeff Wilson who first broke the good news immediately followed it up with bad news.

Though 52 games this season Moreland was hitting .246/.297/.347 with two home runs and 23 RBI.

Stay tuned on this one.
