Colorado Rockies left hander Brett Anderson is expected to ramp up his rehab after he had pins removed from his left index finger on Monday.
Anderson, 26, has been out of action since suffering a fracture on the finger on April 12. The Rockies placed him on the 60 day disabled list making him eligible for action on June 12.
Bummed I'm missing out on the Memorial Day game…but excited to be flying back to Denver and finally get these pins taken out of my hand.
