The Kansas City Royals and Tampa Bay Rays have added some minor league depth to their organizations.

Kansas City has come to an agreement with Casey Coleman on a minor league deal. The 26-year-old Coleman was recently let go by the Chicago Cubs. Last season he pitched at Triple-A appearing in 41 games and posting a 3.16 ERA. He appeared in 48 games at the big league level from 2010-2012 and had a 5.76 ERA and a 1.68 WHIP during that time. He will simply be around for depth reasons.
