Tuesday’s game between the New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs has been postponed due to rain
With rain in the area and a forecast that does not bode well the game has been pushed back until Wednesday at which time the two teams will play a day-night doubleheader. The first of the two games will start at 1:05 pm ET.
Jason Hammel and Masahiro Tanaka were scheduled to pitch on Tuesday. Travis Wood and Michael Pineda are listed as Wednesday’s probables. It is unknown if either team will make changes to their rotation due to the postponement.
