Sidelined since last Satrday, Yasiel Puig is in the lineup for Friday’s game.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have Puig listed as their left fielder for Friday’s game with Carl Crawford in left and Andre Either in center. This leaves Matt Kemp on the bench for the game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Though even games played, Puig is hitting .240/.321/.400 this season with a home run and four RBI.

Thus far this season Puig has been the center of a team meeting, been benched for being late and injured upon his return while sliding into first base.

Cesar Ramos moving into Rays rotation

The Tampa Bay Rays have selected Cesar Ramos to take the spot of Matt Moore in their rotation.

Moore has a tear in his ulnar collateral ligament but will try to throw a bullpen session in the next few days to see if he can pitch though the injury. Ultimately he is expected to have Tommy John surgery.

Ramos and Erik Bedard were candidates for the fifth spot in the Rays rotation this spring. That spot went to Jake Odorizzi.
