Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg struck out 12 batters on Thursday earning a win over the Miami Marlins.
Strasburg has responded to the critics who doubted his first two starts of the season. He went 6 2/3 innings of work allowing one run on three hits and a walk. The Marlins lone run came in the form of a solo home run off the bat of Marcell Ozuna.
After his first three games Strasburg i 1-1 with a 4.24 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP. The next time he takes the mound he will be facing the Marlins again.
