Houston Astros relief pitcher Peter Moylan appears headed for a second Tommy John surgery after getting the results for an MRI on his right elbow.
Should Moylan indeed need Tommy John surgery he plans to pitch again according to Evan Drellich of the Houston Chronicle.
The 35-year-old Moylan was expected to be a part of the Astros bullpen to open the season.
Peter Moylan says that if he ends up needing Tommy John surgery, he’s “100 percent” going to try to pitch again. Would be his second TJ.

Since being discovered in the World Baseball Classic, Moylan has carved out an eight year major league career. Over 309 games he owns a 2.80 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP between the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers.
