The Miami Marlins and outfielder Giancarlo Stanton will not discuss an in-season extension according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post.
Stanton is under team control though 2016 and will be one of the premier bats in the National League.
#Marlins GM Jennings told me Stanton is "happy" camper and knows org wants to keep long term, but no talks until offseason

Last season Stanton hit .24/.365/.480 with 24 home runs and 62 RBI in 116 games.
