Boston Red Sox pitcher Jake Peavy is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Saturday. If all goes well then Peavy will make his spring debut on March 13.
Peavy is a little behind after he cut his left index finger with a fishing knife. Even with the delay Peavy should be ready to go before the start of the season.
Jake Peavy will pitch an extended bullpen on Saturday and, if that goes well, he’ll pitch in a Grapefruit League game next Thursday.

Last season Peavy split time between the White Sox and Red Sox making 23 starts posting a 4.17 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP.
