The Baltimore Orioles are looking for a replacement closer after trading Jim Johnson to Oakland earlier this offseason.
Former Atheltics closer Grant Balfour has been the name most closely linked to the Orioles. Now there are reports that the team has offered Balfour a three-year contract.

While the Orioles are said to have lowered the salary of Balfour to add a third year they have added extra incentives.
In 2013 Balfour appeared in 65 games racking up 38 saves and posting a 2.59 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP.
