Johan Santana may have missed the entire 2013 season but that has not deterred as many as eight teams from expressing interest in the left hander.
Santana, 34, is coming off major shoulder surgery and appears destined for a one-year incentive driven deal.
ESPN New York’s Andrew Marchand says that the Mets Yankees, Twins, Rays, Orioles, Royals, Brewers and Pirates are believed to seeking the services of Santana.
Over his career Santana holds a 139-78 record with a 3.20 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP.
