The Atlanta Braves have signed a pitcher, but it’s not Eric O’Flaherty.
While the Braves are still expected to bring back O’Flaherty it has not stopped them from adding some other pitching depth to their organization.
On Wednesday the Braves came to terms on a minor league deal with the right handed Yunkeshy Maya. The 32-year-old will also be invited to spring training.
Maya was once given a four-year deal by the Washington Nationals but he has never lived up to the hype at the major league level. The Nationals cut ties with him in May.
