There appears to be mutual interest between the Detroit Tigers and Joe Nathan.
Nathan, 38, declined his option for 2014 and almost immediately became linked to the closer’s role in Detroit. At this point in his career Nathan is looking to catch-on to a contender and earn his first World Series ring.
