The Cincinnati Reds will add Jay Bell as their bench coach. Bell had been serving as the hitting coach of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Bell, 47, will have a short stay in Pittsburgh as he will leave for Cincinnati after just one season.

The addition of Bell is just the latest in a series of moves by the Reds following the departure of Dusty Baker as manager.
Bryan Price will be serving in his first year as the manager of the Reds after previously acting as the pitching coach.
