If Michael Young is going to leave Philadelphia, it will only be to one team, and that team is the Texas Rangers according to sources.

The Red Sox and Yankees were among two of the teams reportedly interested in the 36-year-old — but with holding a full no trade clause, Young has the final say as to where he plays baseball next.

The Phillies are planning to call up prospect third baseman Cody Asche, so it seems a move could be made in the next 24 hours or so.

Asche, 23, is batting .295/.352/.485 with 15 home runs, 68 RBI and 11 stolen bases over 104 games this season with Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Young spent his whole career with the Rangers prior to signing with the Phillies before the start of the 2013 season. He could be helpful to the Rangers if Nelson Cruz is handed a suspension from MLB this week.
