The Atlanta Braves are hopeful to have two of their outfielders back next week. B.J. Upton and Jordan Schafer are both set to begin rehab assignments at Triple-A Gwinnett.
Upton will begin his assignee on Wednesday while Schafer will wait until Saturday.
The Braves have been without Upton since he went on the DL with a strained right abductor muscle on July 12.
Schafer has not appeared in a game since July 3 while dealing with a ankle injury.
The Braves recently lost Reed Johnson to the disabled list with Achilles tendinitis.
