Chris Sale would instantly become the best pitcher on the trade market but the Chicago White Sox are not about to let that happen.
The White Sox have not floated the name of Sale, 24, in trade discussions and that is because they have no intentions of moving him ahead of the July 31 trade deadline.

Under contract though the 2019 season, Sale was the winning pitcher for the American League in this year’s All-Star Game.
The White Sox still figure to trade Jake Peavy and will try to move injured reliever Jesse Crain. There are also rumblings that Gordon Beckham could be moved.
Sale has made 19 starts this season and holds a 2.69 ERA and a 1.01 WHIP.
