The Philadelphia Phillies are waiving the white flag on the 2013 season after dropping their seventh loss in a row on Saturday.

Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro has reached out to teams letting them known that Michael Young and others can be had via trade prior to baseball’s July 31 trade deadline.

While Young has been linked to Texas, Boston, New York and Baltimore one name the Phillies are reportedly not willing to part with is Cliff Lee.

Young was acquired over the winter in a trade from Texas where he spent the first 13 years of his major league career. He becomes a free agent at the end of the season.

Entering Sunday, Young has appeared in 97 games and holds a .277/.342/.402 line with seven home runs, 32 RBI and 38 runs scored.
