Chicago Cubs pitcher Matt Garza has been scratched from his start tonight as a deal with the Texas Rangers is close according to Ken Rosenthal.
DEAL IS DONE!
Sources: Garza will not pitch tonight for #Cubs, deal with #Rangers near.

Garza was scheduled to start against the Diamondbacks. The Cubs must feel they are close enough to getting a deal done to scratch Garza. Talks with Garza hit a snag Friday when the teams could not agree on prospects, but now apparently the deal is back on.
It is safe to say that Garza has made his final start as a member of the Cubs.
