Atlanta Braves first basemen Freddie Freeman should be back in the lineup this weekend when the team travels to Chicago to play the White Sox.
Freeman was cleared to take dry swings and hit off a tee on Thursday.

Selected to the All-Star Game as the Final Vote selectee the 23-year-old Freeman did not participate due to a jammed left thumb.
Freeman is hitting .308/.386/.468 on the season with nine home runs and 61 RBI. His return to the lineup will also alleviate some corners about a banged up outfield.
