Toronto Blue Jays pitcher J.A. Happ is expected to leave the hospital on Wednesday after suffering a line drive to the head off the bat of Tampa Bay batter Desmond Jennings.
We anticipate that he will be discharged today after testing and will provide an update later on with further information.

As a result of the liner Happ suffered a head contusion and laceration to his left ear. While Happ’s return is unknown it is fortunate that he avoided a worse injury.
