Jeremy Bonderman signed with the Seattle Mariners hoping for another chance at the big leagues. He is getting closer to making that happen.
Mariners manager Eric Wedge said that Bonderman “continues to impress” in camp.
In the right handers latest outing he struck out two over three innings while allowing one run.
Bonderman does not seem like a candidate for a rotation spot but Wedge could always choose to keep him around as a long reliever. Thursday’s outing was the longest this spring for Bonderman.
