Could this be the last year for Mariano Rivera or Andy Pettitte?

Ah, not so fast. Neither player is quite ready to talk about the 2014 season or beyond just yet. Though they did mention when news would come.

Pettitte pitched well after returning last season from retirement finishing with a 2.87 ERA and a  1.14 WHIP. Turning 41 in June the left hander is unsure about 2014 and plans to wait until the winter to make an announcement.

After injuring his knee shagging fly-balls during batting practice the all-time saves leader missed most of the 2012 season. Rivera said on Wednesday that he will make an announcement before spring training ends about his future. Rivera will wear a knee brace this this season but has showed no signs of slowing down in recent years.
