Golfer Hunter Mahan has withdrawn from the Canadian Open. The reason for Mahan’s withdraw is that his wife Kandi went into labor four weeks early.

In fairness golf tournaments happen on a weekly basis but being there for the birth of your child happens only once every nine months.
Mahan’s wife previously was a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
