Sarah Jones and Cody York have gotten engaged. Jones, a former Ben-gal, made headlines when it was revealed that she and York had a sexual relationship while she was a teacher at Dixie Heights High School in Kentucky.
Jones and York got engaged on Thursday according to a post on York’s facebook account, the two appear in a photo kissing on the beach with a ring on Jones’ finger.
As part of plea deal struck last, Jones avoided jail time when she pleaded guilty to felony custodial interference and misdemeanor sexual misconduct for having sex with a student. York was 17 and a Dixie Heights senior at the time the sexual relationship took place. Jones also agreed to never again teach or coach children. She is currently working as a paralegal in the office of her attorney Eric Deters.
Jones is still working on a $11 million lawsuit against TheDirty.com for comments made in two posts from 2009. The posts which were not from the websites owner claim that Jones had sex with members of the Bengals and had multiple STDs.
