The Cowboys have made a change at kicker.
After 10 misses this season the Cowboys cut kicker Brett Maher. In a corresponding move the team has brought in Kai Forbath.
Maher’s latest miss came on Thursday when he missed a 42-yard attempt.
In bringing in Forbath the team is picking up a guy who briefly filled in for Nick Folk in New England missing an attempt himself and being cut once Folk had healed up from an appendectomy.
Forbath went to camp with the Cowboys in 2011 losing a training camp battle to Dan Bailey. He also worked out for the Cowboys following an injury to Bailey in 2016.
