UPDATE: Bell has since joined the Steelers. He missed the team charter getting blood work done. Nothing suggests his job status or role could change due to his arrest.
Following his arrest for marijuana and DUI, running back Le’Veon Bell did not travel with the Pittsburgh Steelers for Thursday night preseason game against Philadelphia.
Teammate LaGarrette Blount who was arrested for marijuana possession did make the trip. Thus far as much or as little can be read into this as the mind allows. The NFL typically takes a long time to dish out punishments.

The Steelers had Bell pegged at the top of their depth chart. A year ago Bell totaled 860 yards on 244 attempts (3.5 avg) last season while rushing for eight touchdowns. He added 45 receptions for 399 yards.
