We really hope you did not go out and buy that No. 8 Michael Vick jersey.
The quarterback who will enter the offseason program at No. 2 on the depth chart has decided to change his uniform number again.
Vick can not wear his customary No. 7 uniform because it becomes to last years second-round pick in Geno Smith. While it cannot be ruled out that Vick could be the starter for Week 1 of the NFL season he was not getting the number away from Smith.
Now after having some time to think about the No. 8, Vick is changing him uniform to No. 1.
After trying on the #8 I decided that it's not the right fit for me. I'll be going with the #1 officially. Thank You #JetsNation
