The Indianapolis Colts have re-signed running back Ahmad Bradshaw to a one-year contract.
Bradshaw, 27, will be the back-up to Trent Richardson. Ironically it was Bradshaw’s injury that led to the Colts trading for Richardson early last season. Vick Ballard will also see time at running back for the Colts.

In his three games before undergoing neck surgery, Bradshaw ran for 186 yards and two touchdowns with a 4.5 yards per carry. He has missed 19 games over the last three seasons.
His contract is expected to be around the veterans minimum. The Colts are still working to sign a corner and safety.
