Alabama vs. Georgia: National Championship Game, updated odds, point spread and tv streaming

Tonight is the night. A new National Champion will be crowned in College Football. Two SEC foes face off against one another in prime time as the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs do battle in Atlanta.

Kickoff is set for 8:10 pm ET with fans being able to tune in via ESPN and the WatchESPN app. The Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA plays host to the biggest event in college football.

Georgia (13-1) defeated Oklahoma a week ago after capturing the SEC Championship with a win over Auburn. The path was a bit different for Alabama (12-1) who was left out of the SEC Championship game but earned a playoff berth thanks to Georgia’s win over Auburn. They had their way with Clemson in the Sugar Bowl a week ago.

There has not been a lot of movement in the odds for this game in recent days. The Alabama Crimson Tide opened as the favorite and the 4.5 opening line has dipped only to 4. After the total points of this game opened at 47 it shifted quickly to 45 and has stayed there since, currently it’s showing at 45.5 total points for the Crimson Tide and the Bulldogs.

Most analysts expect Georgia to be able to stay in the game but the consensus seems to be that Alabama is just a better team in part thanks to experience and head coach Nick Saban.
