Michigan Wolverines quarterback Devin Gardner will miss the teams bowl game.

Gardner broke his foot a month ago against Ohio State. On Thursday Michigan head coach Brady Hoke confirmed that Gardner would miss Saturday’s game against the Kansas State Wildcats. The two teams will meet in the BUffalo Wild Wings Bowl.

Shane Morris will start in Gardners place. Morris has played in parts of two games connecting on five of his nine pass attempts for 65 yards and an interception against Central Michigan and Michigan State.

As for Gardner he had 3,443 total yards and 32 total touchdowns for the Wolverines this season.
