LSU Tigers quarterback Zach Mettenberger will miss the school’s bowl game.
Mettenberger has a torn ACL reports ESPN.
As a senior Mettenberger became just the third quarterback in LSU history to top 3,000 yards in a season before he was injured in a 31-27 win over Arkansas last week. Mettenberger finishes the season with 22 touchdown passes and was fourth in the national with a 171.45 passer rating.
Anthony Jennings who replaced Mettenberger last week would start in a bowl game for LSU.
