Denny Hamlin has made no secret that he believes NASCAR’s suspension of Matt Kenseth is unjust.
After Kenseth’s suspension on Tuesday, Hamlin took to twitter to make his thought’s known about NASCAR’s decision.
“Thought it was pretty clear from drivers reactions after the race that Joey broke driver code. Matt made sure it was enforced. #freematt”
Hamlin posted a photo of himself wearing a #FreeMatt t-shirt on Thursday throwing more support behind his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate.

Kenseth was suspended for making contact with Joey Logano last week at Martinsville Speedway, an act which was partially due to Logano’s actions weeks ago at Kansas Speedway which kept Kenseth from victory and advancement into the Eliminator Round of the Chase.
Erik Jones will drive Kenseth’s No. 20 Dollar General Toyota Camry at Texas.
