The Braves continue to make baffling moves.
On Tuesday the Braves signed reliever Jason Grilli to a two-year deal with a club option for a third. The veteran spent last year splitting time between the Pirates and Angels posting a 4.00 ERA with 57 strikeouts over 54 innings.

For now the Braves will allow Grilli to set up closer Craig Kimbrel.
The Braves have traded away outfielders Jason Heyward and Justin Upton this offseason while signing Nick Markakis and picking up starter Shelby Miller. The team also declined to tender contracts to Kris Medlen and Brandon Beachy.
